Morons. “They will be crushed today so they can never terrorize our streets again” Because motorcycles escape from garages at night and run over old ladies. You’d think they were guns or something. |

https://thehashtag.us/enemy-action/ And don't buy all the hype you're fed. https://accordingtohoyt.com/2022/06/23/the-flawles s-dream/ The most dysfunctional regimes in history are ones where it's a locked box of Elites competing for power amongst themselves, no outsiders allowed. The Ottoman Empire is a great example, where assassination of your own siblings to move up the ladder became normal. ( Borderlands 3 has this as a sub plot ) If You look at the most oppressive regimes, you might notice a few things. There is often a LOT of hyper paranoia about the Outsiders, the damn peasants, revolting and kicking out the Aristocracy. When that rarely happens, it's usually a Mob paid for/run by other, lower, Aristocrats that want to take over. The few times it appears to have happened, the new guys get murdered by the most ambitious. The French Committee of Public Safety had snack vendors selling treats to the competition removal in the public square. So, the Pundits warning of Civil War between our polarized factions almost certainly won't get barricades in the streets ( by the rioters, or the citizens defending against them ) changing the leadership. The NRA won't bomb the White House. ( the FBI might ) And the greatest danger to, for example, Ms. Veep Harris*, isn't an angry guy who runs a tree trimming service, it's the "former Obama staffer" that plants the "briefing materials" in Marine 2. Feel free to speculate who might be chosen to replace her. It won't be me. |

I won't comment in any detail on the recent legislation, the "Do Something" bill, or Supreme Court decisions, or the arson and assaults related to either. Not this morning. I will point out that I disagree with Supreme Court decisions about half the time. Sometimes vehemently against. I suspect my lifetime average on disagreeing with legislation is far worse. After all, the Court is usually reviewing existing laws, but new ones from a legislature are inevitably either a contradiction of previous laws, or shiny new ones slathered on top of existing laws. And we got plenty of laws, already. A couple of centuries worth on top of the British Common laws we inherited even as the Founders rejected the Monarchy. I'm not calling for no laws, that doesn't work. That's just enlightened self interest. History shows how things go real bad when that happens, see French Revolution & the Committee of Public Safety & the Revolutionary Guard. OTOH, any given law, passed by votes or decreed by a Dictator, may be bad in many ways. See Jim Crow, & "Plessy vs. Ferguson" & Aktion T4. Life requires some thought & judgment. I do not advocate violence other than in defense against violence. If someone, say, ( not so random example ) commits arson on a church, home, or office, no matter the perceived offense, that's unacceptable, & must be stopped, or arrested & prosecuted. |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/06/why -the-abortion-hysteria.php As long as I've paid attention, I have disagreed with about half the Supreme Court decisions. Looking back before my birth, the ratio may be the same, I just haven't read many decisions I liked. ( possible confirmation bias. If you're looking for errors, you find them. ) The line in the sand I draw on sexually related subjects is simple, Consenting. & Adults. You might argue about the Age adulthood and Consent applies. There's a strong argument that 25 years old is a good line for judgment. Romeo and Juliet were 14. ( and idiots driven by emotion without perspective. That's the Plot. ) I bet most here would consider 13 as too young for Consent. ( the Age of the boy filmed having sex with his former teacher in Hawaii, who publicly accused those who don't want grooming in school of grooming. Typical Projection Dishonesty. ) There are other age related laws that have changed since my childhood. As a youth, I could legally drink 3.2 beer @ 16. When they changed the drinking age to 21 while keeping the Age you can serve in the military at 18 ( and under! ) that seems wrong to me. It's a subject worth rational discussion. |

And because the Party may change directions with the winds of popularity, your obedient public praise for any given subject you thought would make you an ally might be cause to declare you unclean a week later. If you're not With Them, you're the Enemy. Period. That's not a single Party issue, either, although it's far easier imho to find examples on one side. |

As I watch the hysteria over abortion, one simple thing is obvious and weirdly dark. Big corporations who jumped up and proudly announced they would pay their Women Employees, ( gender dyspepsia ignored in the moment ) $4000 ( seems to be pretty common ) to travel to a different State to kill their unborn babies, are actually SAVING lots of money they otherwise would have to pay out in Maternity Leave and Benefits. It's a sound business decision! Just like encouraging Assisted Suicide to save money on Health Care Costs is a built in part of Obamacare's writer's dream. Seems to be an important part of Canada's new mental health money savings plan. Depressed? Not feeling Normal? You're never going to have a happy life if you aren't One Of The Accepted, so... Just ask to end all your anxiety, and the Free Health Care system will be happy to give you a painless out. ( and save those tax Loonies for Management ) That might be my cynical impression and not the actual motivation. It may only seem manipulative and greedy, as well as ethically ice hearted. But the math sure seems simple. |

And for those not following Canadian Utopinanism, here's a reference that's not a condemnation from some radical Christians or other political enemies of the Regime. https://www.canada.ca/en/health-canada/services/me dical-assistance-dying.html The mental health suicide program doesn't kick in until next year. Isn't that just in time for the next Federal Election? Curious. I wonder if President Harris* will take inspiration from this? Assuming she bothers to read about it in her briefing materials. |

https://accordingtohoyt.com/2022/06/30/it-is-us-at -the-gate/ https://victorygirlsblog.com/believe-us-because-we -tell-you-to/ In 2016, the Clinton Campaign purchased a faked document from a former British spy to try to lie about her Enemy. The Klan Party and their Media Propaganda Arm then lied to you for 5 1/2 years, so far, about it, despite the truth being known the entire time. These are the same liars who now insist armed counter revolutionary traitors smashed the gates of the Bastion of Democracy to threaten them and overturn the government. The same liars that covered up the 2 ACTUAL murders that day, a woman shot in the neck and another gassed and beaten to death by the Capitol Police. The same liars that tell us that to question their lies is Treason. The same liars who insist there was no fraud in the 2020 election, BECAUSE NO COURT ALLOWED EVIDENCE TO BE PRESENTED, But there sure was in 2016, despite no evidence, and in 2000, despite an actual recount showing they lost. The same liars who blame the Supreme Court for Giving Bush the White House, for ruling that Al Gore could ask for a recount, but not just the districts he cherry picked. And that after asking the Florida Court to explain their reasoning to allow illegal cherry picked recount to change the results of the election. The same liars who now tell their followers to illegally intimidate Supreme Court justices who they hate for thwarting their crimes. I could go on, but I bet you see a pattern by now. |

The House took the already passed hill from the Senate, sat on it for nearly a year, ( maybe so they could use it for election year publicity ) then stuffed pork into it that benefits THEIR donors who gave them huge bribes. ( But not the GOP donors, with their bribes! ) There's a worse situation with the tech/social giants bill going through, where the Ds stuffed censorship of their Enemies into an otherwise bipartisan bill to keep the Tech Oligarchs from killing competition. Stay tuned! |

https://www.manhattancontrarian.com/blog/2022-7-1- there-are-two-fundamentally-irreconcilable-constit utional-visions Congress could, but won't, try to pass two bills on very different subjects, because the Congresscritters fear losing reelection over the flack they'd get. Feel free to disagree, these are both highly opinionated about subjects. On Abortion, it would be relatively simple to make abortion a protected legal act in the cases of medical necessity, rape, incest, and maybe even "life quality" issues like Downs Syndrome and fetal alcohol damage. 1 -3 should be easy, and the "conservative" approach. There's, at a WAG, 10% of the citizens that would vehemently be against the above ( 1-3 ) hypothetical bill, On Both Ends of the subject. So roughly 20% would be angry the bill allows killing anyone or doesn't allow killing anyone they want to. So with 10% of a Congresscritter's base likely to vote against them for supporting the bill, it's far too risky for the Establishment. The other subject is taking marijuana off the forbidden/highly regulated narcotics list. Multiple States have over written State laws ( not necessarily actually removed laws that make pot illegal, just added a layer of bureaucracy to tax it ) and now refuse, if the individual DA choses, to enforce Federal laws. So, for example, in New York, it's ok to smoke mara-ja-wana recreationally, but they haven't finished the tax code part so you can't legally buy it except as "medical marijuana" except in a very few locations that made it ok locally. So you might be safe from the town cop, be in mild danger of arrest by the State cops, ( But they Will close down shops ) and be in random danger from the DEA/ FBI /ETC. who might ignore you, arrest you, or burn your house down with a 3am. SWAT team volley of tear gas grenades through your windows. Totally depending on the whim of a bureaucrat who might want publicity for his budget. ( see also Waco Massacre ) It would be trivial to simply pass a bill legalizing marijuana and create a study group to tax it. But there's some people on both ends of the political divide that object to intoxication, freedom, or ( fill in the blank ). And thus a minority of wretched/enlightened ( depending upon your views ) rule over us all by being noisy and intimidating millionaire Congresscritter reelection minions. In other words, SOP. |

NOT SAFE FOR UPTIGHT. https://pjmedia.com/news-and-politics/athena-thorn e/2022/07/05/ivy-league-ri-state-senator-twerks-up side-down-for-votes-n1610519 I'm fine with a State Senator twerking on her Antisocial Media and Campaign sites. I'm not going to watch, like, subscribe, or obey. But I don't anyway. It would be Very nice to have education in schools. When the subject matter is sex, the problem seems to be from opposite sides of the freak spectrum. The excessively in denial uptight freaks who don't want their children to know anything They don't teach and approve of. And don't teach them anything anyway. Leaving them ignorant, and vulnerable to the child rapists. And the folk who support child rapists. I have some sympathy for the first group of idiots, since I don't trust the political school system to not be the second group, either, this century. I didn't trust them to teach anything useful on the subject last century either. Looking back the "don't get pregnant by accident" and "don't spread disease" stuff we got in 1974 wasn't bad, it just wasn't what we wanted. And since "Hot for Teacher" was both a hit song and many kids daydream, The guys I knew all were basically envious when the rare news came out of a female teacher seducing a boy student. We were sexist & ignorant, ( also jealous ) so didn't like the male teachers seducing the female students, and the other combinations were censored and covered up, so no one talked about them. I don't know what the female students said to each other. There was strong Omerta back then. I assumed plenty of lust for the teachers on their part. Oh, the good old denial days! The second group I have Very Traditional attitudes about. Downright medieval. There's a rational middle ground that REALLY needs to talk with each other and reject the extreme edges. That their solutions will anger a lot of people is inevitable. |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2022/07/who -in-his-right-mind.php These children are the result of a social experiment gone bad. They are casualties of the War on Poverty introduced by the progressive left under President Johnson in the 1960s. Since that time, the black community and society as a whole have been suffering the consequences. *** While the left constantly bemoans systemic racism, the evidence suggests something different. It does not point to racism. It does not point to white privilege. And it certainly does not point to police brutality. It points to the problem in the black community that no one ever talks about: the high percentage of fatherless homes. That problem is a Feature, not a bug. Welfare rules are written to cut benefits if the women get married. Punish families with men taking responsibility. The Rationalization is that single mothers need more help. The Purpose is to make more single mothers. Make more children without fathers. Make more future criminals and prisoners. ( And reap vast sums of bribes from those who want government contracts to build prisons ) It's been decades since the results of Welfare Rules written by the Klan Party have been proven to prevent the nuclear family. Encourage had behavior. Oppress the poor. Fill the prisons. It's not a surprise, it's not new, it's not an accident. It's deliberate. LBJ's Great Society programs began in 1964, and Congress has deliberately never changed the Anti- Fathers aspects in the Over Half Century they've been obviously getting these results. |
