The assumption AOC is making seems to be that the President can simply order the debts paid by the taxpayers and everyone, as the banks would get paid by printing money at the Federal Holy Treasury or whatever. A few more trillion in imaginary value solves the problem, she may believe. ( she probably was sleeping or skipped the class that explains how inflation works as a tax on the not rich ) However, while a dictatorial decree to cancel debt for an arbitrary chosen group would be, in normal circumstances, an illegal spending of money not voted on by the representatives, & a massive arbitrary transfer of real wealth from you to banks, aka, Theft, there may be a loophole put in place by Barack Obama. Barry nationalized the Student Loan industry, but did so by ( taking massive bribes from the banks, obviously ) making the collection of debt a government special thing inescapable by bankruptcy, while making the profits guaranteed income for his patrons, the banks. Thus Joe* could, theoretically, just tell the banks to suck it up and keep the already massive profits and write off the debts as losses on their taxes. Because he certainly wouldn't risk the Campaign Bribes for the next election theater by ending the gravy train. No matter what Joe* does, the banks that bribed Barry aren't going to lose a penny and you will pay for it. Ain't Socialism grand? | ||

There have been cases in history where Candidate A was winning, and then at the last minute, B got a lot of votes from absentee ballots and late reporting polling places. Legitimate cases, quite rare, but it has happened. There have been cases in history where the poll watchers were kicked out. ( which should call for an automatic recount, but... ) There have been cases in history where late at night, mysterious boxes of votes have materialized from trunks of partisan Poll officials, ( On camera! ) or pulled out from under tables. ( on camera! ) There have been cases in history where ballots were thrown in dumpsters. Evidence destroyed. Polling machines erased. Memory cards "recreated" to give fake evidence to subpoenas. All happened, one time or another in the history of democracy. But in 2020, All of the above happened in only the states and cities needed to change the results of the election, in multiple cities SIMULTANEOUSLY. ( except the known faked memory cards, that we know happened later, we don't have proof of that on election night. It probably happened then, too, but we only have the guilty on video bragging about the cover up cards ) Those are the Facts. Feel free to notice the obvious conclusions. |
