Is there a parts interchange chart somewhere on this site? I've been looking, but did not find one. I need to replace my fork seals and front wheel bearings (both are leaking). Since they are common parts, I'd like to source them locally, but would like to be able to do so before disassembly. |

The bearing numbers should be etched on the outer race. Fork parts https://duckduckgo.com/?q=showa+43mm+fork+parts&t= opera&ia=web (Message edited by teeps on November 06, 2021) |

I have the bearings in my truck, when my gf gets home I can post a pic of the box or something. I believe they're an SKF part. |

Lots of wheel bearing info in this old thread: http://www.badweatherbikers.com/buell/messages/142 838/743995.html?1318540428 |

There is a fork rebuild kit, harley pn 49380-09. This is for 43mm showa inverted. Used on the X for 06 and 07. May work for other Ulys but I didn't check. (Message edited by pitchondesign on November 07, 2021) |

He has a 2008 XB12X according to his profile so I’m pretty sure he has a 47mm front end but if it’s 43mm then the fork seals are the same as all the other Harley 43mm Showa forks. Harley still sells the seals. Part number is J8127.3A8 for the Genuine Showa seal, they also have a cheaper version of the same seal but made in Thailand, part number 12085. All Harley dealers are now allowed to order Buell parts, you just sometimes have to supply them the part numbers. If you need 47mm seals they are J8127.3AK and are also still available. |

Correcting semi bad information, 49380-09 was never intended for any Buells. It is for single sided cartridge 43mm inverted forks used commonly on Harley V-Rods, Select Screaming eagle models and the XR1200 non-BPF forks. You can use most of the parts in that kit as the kit does use the same guide bushings, washer, seal clip, oil seal and dust seal. But the drain screw at the bottom of the fork are not the same nor interchangeable. That kit also does not come with any of the o-rings or plastic bushings for the upper pre-load/damper control. |

For future reference, there’s a pretty good parts cross-reference thread on the Buell XB Forum: https://www.buellxb.com/forum/showthread.php?26310 -Parts-cross-reference-thread |
