I'm also too lazy or smart to get all excited and join some plot to do anything dumb. Example! Yesterday I was asked to watch Rachel Maddow, her show on "self owned" where a soccer player kicks the ball into his own goal, giving a point to the other team. It was all about how the Evil Republicans demanded recounts and those cases where Joe* got More votes on the recount. ( zero mention of bad ballots except as conspiracy nut Republican Evil ) The bulk was all how Evil Republicans were passing Evil Laws to steal elections by... Basically casting doubt on the Perfection Of Democrat Election ( fraud ) Handling, an attack on the very basis of democracy! To be fair, if certain of her claims are true, ( and even RM doesn't outright lie 100% because they like to point to one sorta true thing they said when you point out they lie ) then I might object to some of the ongoing effort to curb the voting fraud problem. Not going to be specific, absent research. Her thesis is essentially a combination of transference & projection, PLUS copying the right wing pundits complaining with the reverse spin. It's the Enemy that is ruining faith in the system, not us. Pretty much her reverse of the editorials at American Thinker, ( mostly Trump fans/fanatics depending on your 'tude ) which have been complaining that the election was stolen, ( probably,imho ) and stolen elections break the social contract. ( yep! ) She just points the finger back and interviews Party loyalists who obviously had their briefing on what to say, & ran their scripts past RM's staff. I especially love the prostitute pol who was titled "former Republican campaign expert". Who triggered the frack out of me by claiming the R's motivation is racist and White Supremacy. Plus, interesting, she read an editorial by "a very conservative" who pointed out that Trump was going to run in 2024, and how he totally controls the R Party. ( that last is hilarious, since the only people that Hate Trump more than the racists at the DNC are the Republican Establishment. ) The "very conservative" editorial points out there are 4 ways to depose a sitting president. Impeach like Nixon. ( who actually wasn't, he resigned to prevent that & save the nation the trauma ) 25th Amendment. ( which I don't recall ever happened, even with Prez's who had strokes or died in office after a rapid decline ) ( Wilson & FDR both were not tracking reality for months ) Something stupid I am blanking on so my mind won't seize like a 2 stroke run on straight gasoline. And JFK. ( who was murdered by a commie crazy ) And "no one wants" any of that since that leaves Harris* in charge and dang! ( which I noticed Rachel just smirked while reading her script.. Not wasting her time defending the Gracious Wisdom of Kamala. ) Biden* isn't going to be impeached. The Party won't do it. Biden isn't getting kicked out for sickness. Dr. Jill wants to stay, and not even RM wants Harris*. So expect something nasty to happen to her, first. ( hello! Nancy! ) My guess is after the midterms, but not much longer. ( just because your shiny new Solar Installation isn't filling your lungs with toxic dust doesn't mean it's not killing children and adults elsewhere. ) But solar home design with good insulation and solar energy collection can be very effective and efficient. South facing Windows heating hollow tile floors with the warmth flowing underfoot isn't NASA Modern. See Hypocaust. It's technology used in ancient Rome and medieval/today Korea. Tibetan temples older than Columbus. Smart guys in Aspen. I personally don't choose to be a city dweller. The politics, taxes crime traffic, crowding... But I can admire good design.
