On my 06 Ulysses I need to remove the rear shock so I can get to the cooling fan. However there is a cover over my shock that I don't see in the service manual. Does anyone know how I can remove it? I bought the bike used so there is a chance it is an aftermarket part. Please see attached picture. Thanks.

That is part of the official Comfort Kit Buell released to help reduce heat to the rider. The full fitting instruction is too big to attach to this so I have extracted the first two pages that show how to fit that part. Hopefully that will help you extract it in one piece.
