You don't assault unwanted crowds that came to your party uninvited. You arrest the guy that invited them against the law and your written limits. |

You do if you want to make the point that they're not welcome, and you aren't putting up with that shit. This isn't three or four people crashing a pool party - this is two million illegals, crashing our border, sucking our welfare and assistance systems dry, and contributing NOTHING in return. Not to mention criminal activity, and diseases that haven't been seen since the 1950s (or earlier). Look up Texas' Stand Your Ground and Castle Doctrine laws. Ranchers would be WELL within their rights to take a stand against this invasion. It doesn't have to be the government, or law enforcement, who makes it stop. |

Since it's the drug cartels ( Hunter? ) bringing them the length of Mexico and into the U.S. or dropping them at the border, it better be a well armed group that tries to stop them. You are right it doesn't have to be the poor cops told not to do their jobs by their Political Masters. But the leader of this invasion isn't at the border. |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/09/tou gh-on-russia-not-joe-biden.php Rat, the bravery and marksmanship of Texas farmers isn't the issue. Outnumbered by thugs with machine guns is not a winning thing. And what do you think the Harris/Biden* regime will do? Support the law abiding citizens? Reduce Hunter's cocaine imports? Change policy on importing illegals to win elections by fraud, forever? That last is both bragged about and called a White Supremacist Conspiracy Theory, often by the same Leftists. Given a choice between doing the lawful, responsible thing, and keeping their jobs and the Billion$ in bribes that pays, bet on greed every time. |

I think it's time we have a nationwide "screw the government" movement, and just DO what we need to DO. Defund the police? Fine. Private law enforcement it is. Drop our shorts at the border? Fine. Citizens can take up the slack; on a larger scale, states can do the same. The Fed is not required here. It's time to remind the federal government that, by and large...WE DON'T NEED THEM. We can run our daily lives - and our businesses - and control our safety...just FINE without their interference. |

Is this our 1776 moment? It's getting pretty damned close. Now, this spending bill has a MILEAGE TAX in it that will probably go through - 8 cents a mile driven, for the "privilege" of driving on America's roads. In addition to the gas tax we all pay at the pump. Because they figured out "Heeeyyyyyy....EV's don't use gas, so we're losing out on that revenue...." Threats of $600 bank transaction tracking? Switches to crypto-currency so they can simply "flip the switch" on our bank accounts when we piss them off? Mask mandates and vax mandates are just the beginning. Get on the boxcar, citizen. Yeah, this is getting out of hand. Time to make it clear we won't put up with it. |

8 cents a mile? That is twice my per mile operating cost. I’m all for paying to use the roads, but that’s nuts. |

You DO pay to use the roads- it's called a registration fee, and a gas tax. Those funds are supposed to go "directly" to infrastructure - road maintenance, snow removal, bridge construction, signage, etc. Supposed to. |

Well, I don’t pay fuel tax, depending on which car I take. I’m perfectly willing to pay a per mile tax in leu of a per gallon tax, but 8 cents per mile is pretty steep. |

Fine & good you wish to pay your fair share, unlike the long list like Joe* and AOC's dress painter. But... How? Will your word be accepted, as it should be, you're an honorable guy? Or will your position on the roads be tracked 24/7 with a computer that ties into the IRS, FBI, NSA, ( even if no one else knows or desires, they will anyway ) and the Vaccine & Mask Compliance Ministry? ( which will be tied into every public camera, cell phone, and Google car ) Nah. That's just crazy talk. "All is well!" ( Kevin Bacon ) (Message edited by Aesquire on September 30, 2021) |

8 cents per mile is pretty steep. Well, once again they have to make up for all the "lost" revenue from people driving EV's... |

Once again, the government does nothing to create 'revenue'. It a tax pure and simple. And when you hear politicians spouting off about needing to establish new 'revenue streams' like some dot com CEO, remember again, it's still nothing but a search for a new tax. I already pay double the annual registration on my hybrid. A change pushed thru by our current governor because of the exact reason being bandied about now. Because I wasn't buying as much fuel, I wasn't paying 'my fair share'. And how are they going to know how many miles you do in a year? Seen those little plug-ins to help you 'save' on your car insurance? I already get an email once a month from Google telling me how many miles I've traveled this month, year to date, and how many new places I've visited. And I sure as heck didn't sign up for that collection of data. How do you think OTR trucking companies are going to be hit at .08/mile? How are they going to recoup that cost? But don't worry, if you make less than $400k you won't pay a dime more in taxes - remember. Do any of these a$$hats have a remotely passing acquaintance with economics? Don't worry. The money we borrow now will be worth so much less due to inflation when it's paid back it's really nothing. Deep breath...deeeep breath. |

There's probably only a handful that understand economics. There's probably another handful that actually understands the Constitution and how our Gov is supposed to work. |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/10/joe -biden-reconciliation-and-the-third-rail.php Old people are not part of the emerging Democratic coalition. We aren’t woke. We tend to vote Republican. We talk too much about tradition and traditional values. Worst of all, we’re mostly White. And, or course, Joe* lies about his past, past positions, past attempts to screw you, past lies, and present extra special lies too. Like spending more money than exists doesn't cost anything to borrow from your future. Inflation is imaginary. ( for him, with billion$? in bribes in his corporate family tax evasion scheme ) Taxes don't exist. ( for him, who doesn't pay his while demanding every detail of your finances be reported ) https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/10/the -irs-wants-your-bank-records.php Under Socialist Democratic Party rule, the IRS will go over every purchase and penny earned by You. Initially. To be Certain You Pay. Initially. Next week? Freeze and steal any accounts of the Deplorable? Donate to the anti CRT racism candidate for school board, and be Punished? No more credit card? Actually it's brilliant. Evil but smart. There already exists an organization that wields power to punish you until you Prove your innocence and can freeze your finances so you can't hire a good lawyer, pay rent, buy a plane ticket... Doesn't even need a public shaming Social Credit app. What would you do if the IRS shuts off your life and confiscated your bank account? |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/10/clu eless-joe-biden-and-the-taiwan-agreement.php This will be used as justification for the Conquest of Free China by CCP Occupied China Expect Xi to threaten to destroy America or at least it's fleet, if Joe* breaks his promise not to interfere with the "reunification" . It's not like Joe* knows he didn't. And honesty is not any part of CCP practice or theory. Kinda like Joe*. |

https://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/2021/10/wha t-about-the-taiwan-agreement.php Oh, so it's just that Joe* is not clear in his remarks, he "(was) meant to say" something sorta like we told him to. Not refer to an imaginary secret deal to sell out everyone in Taiwan to his Owner. ( as the old saying goes, "owe the bank $1000 and they own you, owe them a million & you own them" https://www.barrypopik.com/index.php/new_york_city /entry/if_you_owe_a_bank_thousands_you_have_a_prob lem_if_you_owe_a_bank_millions_t Joe* was given millions in bribes from CCP Slave China. So he's owned. Period. ) Pretty sure Jen would assure us that "I'll nuke Texas" really means "we'll consider legal action". And we shouldn't worry about the F-15 flyover of Austin that turned away from the Capitol at the last second. Not an aborted bomb run, no, not us, who are you going to believe, me or your lying eyes and video? What Xi will say about the Taiwan Agreement may be something else completely. |
