Upfront, I think people that really want to be President, are potentially mentally ill by rational standards. Ditto all politicians to varying degrees. I'm not so cynical as to completely discount patriotism and the attitude of a very smart and realistic person to see problems and want to solve them. But narcissism, sociopaths, psychopaths, and crooks have been the trademark in varying combinations, for elected officials for all of history. Village chief or Congresscritters, these are people who won popularity contests, want to run other people's lives, and consider social status paramount. George Washington and Adolph Hitler and Donald Trump show the range of crazy in famous politicians. Joe* is... Insert your opinion here. Something to consider about American politics is a tendency for each change in Party in power to scrap all the projects from the previous Party's run, and then doing the same thing with new ( Or often the same ) folk who Contribute. ( bribe ) The big swings are often in military spending and projects/strategy. This isn't unique to the U.S.!! But we do it like rabid weasels sometimes. AND, the U.S. cycles back & forth on Isolationism vs. Intervention, Inevitably, greedy kings want more and war is a thing that we can't make not happen. Also Inevitably war happens in part because we cut spending on war. Or change our Isolationism attitude. There are feedback loops. cycles that don't line up well. If the enemy looks weak and/or politically unstable, that encourages notions of easy victory. Etc. The cuts and dismantling of the military today is not unusual in American history, severe been through it after WW1, the Civil War, the War of 1812, the Revolution... Cycles... No one has compromised the cell structure that feeds orders, it's all speculation based on the actual facts known about literally millions in business investments in Biden Fami!y hands from Chinese parties. among other things, a fairly bogus company with Hunter Biden & Chris Heinz, ( John Kerry's stepson ) got billions from Ukraine and China and... Anyone else remember when Barry gave a speech every day blaming rich scum with their private jets for all the evil on Earth? Then suddenly private jets vanished from Barry rants like a Magik spell altered the timeline. Like it never happened. For greedy corrupt pols bribes are the spells. Warren Buffett came out and urged the rich to listen to Barry & pay their fair share. Warren owns a private jet charter company. That he simultaneously was spending millions on lawyers to fight paying millions in taxes was just him protecting his shareholders.  That's what we were told. Then there's the XL pipeline from Canada that the Barry regime held up in courts. And coincidence! Warren owns the trains that shipped the Canadian oil to American refineries. Sure, several crashed and spread oil & there were spills and fires, but stuff happens, eh? Now Joe* has simply banned the XL pipeline to save something.
