Hello, I would like to install this headlight on my M2, but I don't recognize the connector. https://www.ebay.fr/itm/HARLEY-DAVIDSON-GENUINE-97 -20-TOURING-7-LED-DAYMAKER-HEADLAMP-67700060/30392 6741868?hash=item46c3720b6c:g:d6EAAOSwAvRgVO-5 Does anybody knows if there's any adapter? Thanks a lot. |

I had the Genuine HD Daymaker on my Sportster. While it was definitely brighter than my stock light, it wasnt $400 brighter. If I had to do it again, I'd do the eBay light. |

Thanks for your answers. It's very hard to really know how chinese lights are really bright... |

Jealous of you guys and your 7" headlights. A few months ago I looked into replacing the headlight on my S1 with something like that before I realized my bike has a 7-3/4" headlight. |

I put an LED bulb in my stock housing. I found a bulb that was recommended on a BMW motorcycle site for use with the stock housing, as on my bike, I'm trying to keep it look mostly stock with a couple of period correct mods. |

I was looking for the opposite. I don't really get out on the bike at night, so the brightness doesn't really bug me. I just want something that doesn't look quite as dated. Ideally I'd like something similar to the stock light only with a clear lens, like what the 2003+ SV650s have, but the daymaker lights sounded appealing when I saw you could get them for $40-50 on Amazon, if you've got the 7" bucket. |

SV650! One of my other favorite bikes. I like your style! |

Josh you can convert to a 7" by using an M2 bucket. I actually have one as well, if you or someone else is interested. (Message edited by phelan on April 03, 2021) |

I almost bought one of the original naked SV650's when I was in college, ended up with something else instead but I've always had a thing for them. The original half fairing version SV650S is still one of my favorite looking bikes from back then. I always think it'd make a great commuter, but I'm not sure I'm interested in going back to clip ons. Phelan: that's the eventual plan. I wasn't in a rush to swap it, but when I saw the LED lights could be had for $40, I figured why not. Finding out I'd need a new bucket to go with it doubled the price of the upgrade, still reasonable enough to do, but was enough to keep it from being an impulse purchase. How much were you looking to get for yours? |

A good middle of the road solution is the Eaglelights one: https://www.eaglelights.com/products/eagle-lights- 7-round-led-headlight-generation-iii-black-halo-ri ng Much better light than eBay knock-offs and cheaper than the HD DayBreaker (The DayBreaker is just a re-badged JW Speaker 8700 series light - made in USA, but not cheap) - the Eagle Light comes with a warranty and customer service - installation took about 20 mins - bolted right up... |

Just wanted to send a thanks to Genesisclimber on the Eagle led link. Just bought and installed on my m2. Pretty easy install, has to clean out my chrome ring and Mount but it was a direct swap, plug and play. The link you provided fits exactly. Also had a 20% of code for email sign up it cost me $180 free shipping. |
