How long have you owned your Cyclone or other Buell? I was pondering this yesterday and realized that I've had B.Rex since 2002...nearly 20 years. And it looks as good (better, actually!) than the day I bought it. | ||

14 years on my 99 M2. I can't say it looks as good as when I bought it. Probably because it has 113,000+ miles on it not the 26,000 when I got it. | ||

Picked up my 97 S1 in February 2016. Sat about 6 months till I was able to get it on the road. It looks a little prettier than when I bought it, but that's not saying much haha. | ||

Bought my 2002 S3T in Sept 2002 so 19 Years next month. Many other bikes have come and gone over the years but the S3T is a keeper. Nothing else i've ridden or owned has as much soul as that bike does. | ||

Bought my 2006 XB122ss brand new in may of 2006, 15 years now… just crossed 17,000 miles on it… The 5 others I’ve had for under 2 years. 95 s2 got in April 2020 3800 miles 99 M2 got in December 2020 12500 miles 00 x1 got in January 2021 14500 miles 09 black 1125r in October 2019 286 miles 09 white 1125r in March 2020 9400 miles | ||

I had misread the original post . . . I thought it was ?when did you won your first". First one I rode as 1987 at Armando Magri, Inc. in Sacramento while there for the Sacramento Mile. The next week I was in Mukwonago at the barn. The first one I owned (I had a couple of loaners on the way) was my 1995 S2 which would make the "ownership" number something like 26 years. The S2 . . . which has been in 44 states . . . still sits here . . . with an Aaron Wilson Blue Printed motor . . .waiting to be resurrected. I've thought about selling it but there is something about the first Buell to have seen most the great venues in America . . .that's sentimental It sits here under some pics of Erik and I . . along with HD folks, like Wille G and his wife and Rich and Anne Teerlink when we had the first Buell meeting in Topeka in 1987 | ||

Got my 01M2 in 2009 . Was a Buell fan for years but had other obligations at the time. Just picked up a 99S3 with less than 5k on the odometer, to save from the scrap yard because the motor is thrashed. Hope to have it on the road next summer. |
