2003 Buell XB9S Lightning Just over 30000 miles. I’m only selling because it can’t do hooligan things two up. Ok to be more specific the wife hates the passenger accommodations so I need to be something else to fit that mission. Recent work (1000 miles or less on the following): -Replaced original engine with 2005 XB9 engine with 14k. Replaced all gaskets/seals with Cometic gaskets/seals. Rocker cover gaskets and counter shaft seal are HD parts .Also instaled the bronze oil pump gear as preventative maintenance. - Metzler Sporttec tires with plenty of life left. -New Plugs/wires/coil -Fresh oil change (Mobil 1 15w50 in crank case/ Formula Plus in primary) - Rebuilt fuel pump assembly with Stark parts. (Regulator/pump/strainer/filter hoses etc) - New front HH pads -Forks rebuilt with factory oil/seals/bushings - Header polished - Brake fluid flushed with DOT4 fluid -New rear wheel bearings. Mods: -Race kit (K&N Air Filter, Race ECM, Factory Race Muffler) -Buell Saddlebags -Rizoma mirrors. - Breather mod with catch can -Right side scoop -Frame lined with reflective heat tape (Keeps frame temps much lower, a problem on any v-twin sportbike including my old TL1000) -Comfort seat -Smoked timing cover with red LEDs that turn on when bike is running -04-up style drive belt/pulleys - Bronze Oil Pump drive gear (Found on later models) Included parts: -Spare/Original engine. I replaced it due to oil shavings on drain plug from oil pump drive gear -XB Wheels (need repaired but ride smooth/hold air) -Box with random lines/brackets etc -Assorted special tools Looking to get $4500 or trade
