This is not your grandmother’s Buell. Stripped all the cheezy parts off and replaced with American made billet clip-ons, rear sets, unitized tail section/fender for a clean look. Then had the engine built locally by R&R Cycles. First it was a stage II head job, with stock displacement. Rode that for a couple years then went for it and got the torque monster I wanted. 2013 R&R Cycles Stage 4 complete engine rebuild at 53,896, including R&R Stage 4 Head work, compression releases, Axtell ductile Iron Cylinders bored to 1,430cc. 12:1 compression, Rebuilt and balanced Crank, all new everything from valves to seals. Also had forks rebuilt to race spec by Moto Pro, and the rear shock was also given a complete rebuild. R&R's work speaks for itself. 2018. R&R total transmission and Clutch rebuild, Baker EZ Shift, Stortz steering dampner, Muller power clutch. Turned into an awesomely fast café build. Would also make a great donor bike for a custom sportster. Low miles since the transmission rebuild. New Pirelli Tires and Gel Battery. Have over $10,000 into building the engine, but willing to take reasonable offers. Looking to get $8,000.00. (Message edited by John_w_hession on April 26, 2021) |
