Not about "surviving", it's about the pressure it puts on the output shaft bearing and wheel bearings. These belts have to be a lot looser than Sportsters because of the swingarm pivot location and the amount of deflection in the swingarm. One can tell visually from your photo that the belt is too tight, to the point it will bind when the rear suspension is compressed. We know this out of experience, both personally and collectively. I personally have had to change wheel and output shaft bearings due to belts too tight; I've owned over 30 Buells. | ||

I had it dynoed when I first built it. It had about 100ftlb and about 130hp , but I changed it quite bit over the years, and I had the turbo rebuilt last fall.Might not sound like much but its still a thrill! | ||

HP Extreme exhaust ceramic coating in blue , its a very expensive thick ceramic , their blue was too dark so I used blue VHT over the top , worked real well, and if I scuff it , I can respray it. It is needed to hold the exhaust heat in to drive the turbo. | ||

Thanks. I have a blue pipe X1W that needs the header recoated. My local shop doesn’t do ceramic in colors, just black and silver. | ||
