Buellj79 are you sure you want a size 30 in those Alpinestar jeans? I have a pair of Leather jeans that are a size 32 since that is what size denim jean I wear and they are too tight. Your welcome to try them out if you want and we can talk deal on them. |

Hey guys, I really need to get these tires warm before I get on the throttle, when it's cold out. I made that left leaving the bar and romped on it, and promptly started sliding out, backed off the throttle and regained control, then twisted it a little more, which resulted in spinning the rear tire. LOL These race tires don't stick well when it's 54 degrees out, eh? (gotta remember that!) C-ya next week, same bat-time, same bat-channel. Brian, have a good ride on Friday, don't scare those new guys!

They aren't the same ones BuellJ they are leather jeans with the lacing up the sides. When i got them I had a 30" waist and got them in 32" waist. Now I am back up to a 32" waist and they are too tight in the waist. I am available most evenings after 7pm. Heh, Bart I did the same thing as I rolled past the front fender of Brians Miata Guess I caught the paint for the road and it sidestepped. |

That's the one . That's the link I was looking for for the AZ springfast thread . Excellent track layout. You can do corner five w/o brakes but it requires a little drifting on entry. VERY fun place . |

Hey Brian, Rick and I are ridin. Short day. Mt. Lemmon 2 or 3 times and maybe Old Spanish Trail if we're all up for it. Try and make it. The picture isnt of the Hayabusa. I've been working on some new Rocket Fuel from the OK Corral. Main ingredient is Cabbage and Beans!!! Seems to work pretty good. Having a hard time getting the mixtures just right.!. |

that looks like one of the gals AL tried to pick up on down in Patagonia one weekend. He must have finally gotten her to get on the back of his bike.

Got the estimate on my bike today. According to the techs at Chandler HD it comes to just over $4K, so it'll be fixed rather than totalled. Should be back on it in a couple weeks assuming the insurance check arrives on time. I've never had a bike repaired like this, so when I pick it up, what should I look for before I accept it? I know I've got to do a test ride, but are there any specifics I should look out for? |

Ethanr, Make sure there's "Gas" in the tank! Bart You figured that out right away, did'nt you? I've been going back down to Patagonia for the past couple of months-I finally convinced Layteesha to go for a ride with me!! I don't know why? But for some reason the bike seemed to go a lot faster with her on the back. It's probably just that "warm" feeling you get from just being around her!! Or her being around me! I don't know-I can't figure it out!!!!! |

Ethan look at the frame area around the headstock for any cracks/touchups of the paint. If there are then it means the frame crumpled a bit at impact. Since the bike is at Chandlers, before they start work you may want to go check out the damage closely and take a digital. The reason I say this is because it is my understanding that once the front of the frame twists/bends it can not be straightened without compromising the tank. Also what does that $4K cover? List of parts and a breakdown of labor would be nice. You could probably take the parts list and ask DaveS if he can check the prices to see if the quote was raised to bank the cash or if it really is that much. The cost of pieces on the XB's are low enough that a $4K quote has me wondering just what broke. |
