2008 XB12XT. 24,xxx miles. Drummer exhaust, K&N air filter, Buell Race ECM - relocated. I have a noticeable power loss under acceleration below 4500 RPM's. Also, when coming to a stop from moving, the RPM's drop low enough the bike almost dies - or does. Starts great, idles great otherwise, no issues at cruising speeds. I have put 7k miles on this bike and this problem has developed within the last 2k miles. Plugs were changed - no difference (old plugs looked good). Vacuum leak? Side note: Considering putting stock exhaust back on for a bit quieter ride. Any reason for or against? Thanks! Drew |

I'll check that when I get home. I have checked the battery terminals in the past, but never the grounds. I'll have to look into where they are. Thanks! |

After the battery terminals and grounds, try starting the engine and turning the handlebars back and forth, and wiggling the wiring between the electrical bits on the front end and the chassis of the bike. See if you get any change in how the bike runs. Hope this helps, Dave |
