While I was prepping my Buell race muffler for reinstallatiom last night, I took a gander down inside with a good flashlight and noticed that the baffle tube had a crack connecting several perf holes. No telling how long it's been there. I was thinking about maybe having it welded the next time I repack the pipe, but wondering if anyone is making replacement parts for the race exhaust, or if there is a retrofit for parts like the baffle tube?
I'll try to get some pictures up tonight. Also wondering if the tube comes out once the end caps come off? (can't recall; been too many years since last repack)

Well, according to my post 12 years ago, sounds like the baffle tube does indeed come out.
