Want to get a rear stand from some company such as Woodcraft. They make the front and rear stands I use for the XBRR. The problem is that the 1125R has no spool mounts, the RR does. The Woodcrafts are not offered in a strictly 1125R but is made so it will fit the width of the other XB Buells.  I would like an off the shelf (if possible) and/or group of parts that quickly attach (maybe a spindle through the hollow rear axle tapered I.D. with spools) or similar so that there are no holes to be drilled.  It is for our son who has the bike 2,200 miles away in MT. Any help would be appreciated in locating the pieces needed. Does the Woodcraft XB front stand fit the 1125r without any modifications? | ||

Just be aware that the 1125 swingarm is wider than most. I had to look for a while to find a stand. | ||

Never saw the point of rear axle spools... The vast majority of time my bikes are on a rear stand is to pull the rear wheel, which you obviously can't do with those axle spools. | ||

Really...wider than most..!? Never heard of muscle power ? Stand on the ground, sideways, stand on one leg of the stand and pull on the other leg of the stand. Check fit. Pull more or push as required to fit. Simple. I have three stands that I "modified"...for the Buell swingarm. Mike | ||

Shoggin, That is a shaky fix because the swingarm wall thickness is way too thin to support tapped threads. I addressed this issue years ago. The correct solution is to drill for a welded in boss. I used a 12mm plug 10mm thick. That was then drilled and tapped for an M8 thread. | ||

Trackside Rearstands have spool and non spool lift adapters that can work, as far as width I bent mine a bit to get it a bit extra wide but you can also just loosen the bolt and lift the adapter at an angle with no mod https://www.hondagrom.net/attachments/photo-3-4-jp g.9805/ | ||

Stevel, thanks for the heads up! I agree with ya, the arm is strong enough to support the bike, but not on threads alone. I backed the bolts with a thick washer on the inside of the swingarm, and a nylock nut. I think using a spool with a large diameter footprint is important too for the same reason.
