Here's a pic of my '99 Cyclone on the day I brought her home. She only had about 850 miles at this point (that was 2.5 weeks ago, now she's nearing 1800mi). If you look close you can see the "o-rings" from the blown fork seal on the left fork tube. Spike |

Tripper, Squizy, get real about the header. I admit that it is the best thing going but....it is only that good if you add something to the end of it for about DOUBLE the price of a slip-on. Any slip-on will not equal the BMC race header and can PERIOD. After saying that I have the poor man's race kit that gives me 95-98% of what a full blown race kit gives you for 1/2 the price. Call me cheap, but Stripe'r does run well. Yeah I want the race header but time may get me the money, but not now. Time 4 sleep and dreaming of Home Coming. CU there. Neil S. |

Ccryder, I agree the cost of the BRS is to high But you can use the race header with ANY muffler and get the same results AS LONG as you make sure the muffler is the same diameter. I was not saying all slip-ons are crap BUT by the time you have finished paying out for the muffler and setting it up, the cost difference is NOT worth the HASSLE. Cheers Squiz |
