2009 Buell 1125R, 2nd owner (I bought with 129 miles on it). 32500 miles. Clear title in hand, NOT a salvage title. Please don't view this as a basket case, it's not. It needs a bit of work, and I just don't have the patience for it. It was running fantastic when the stator failed. They are known for stator issues. Occurred about 3500 miles, I did the proper fix with a revised rotor, however some damage had occurred At about 32,000 miles the stator finally gave up the ghost. Replaced the stator, put on a better aftermarket voltage regulator, and main wiring harness. Ran great for about 20 miles, then issue arose again. Parked it and bought a new bike Currently in the process of replacing the sub harness as well (might need another main harness, $50 on ebay), but I am just not wanting to keep going on this. So, would like to just sell it. Now for the good part - this shouldn't be a hard fix. I've bought virtually everything and most of it's installed. I planned on keeping this bike forever, so I also LOTS of spare parts: virtually complete extra fairing kit a set of cylinder heads many internal engine parts that wear valve shim kit and special tools factory electrical and mechanical manuals NEW Matris rear shock and front cartridges. These were $2,600 NEW Dean Adams exhaust and race ECM $850. Great power stock ECM and race ECM for stock exhaust and filter Pitbull rear stand and head stand Saddleman seats extra stock seats Zero gravity smoke screen and custom bolts stock screen very low mile Q3 tires spare drive belt custom foot pegs HID lights Tons of stuff I'm not even remembering | ||
