Bet it's fake. Face too big, colors wrong. A quick image search shows no credible photos of the Grand Kleagle Senator Byrd in Klan robes. That he was a high officer in charge of recruiting is not in dispute. He was. Just for giggles I searched Bill Clinton confederate flag. Nope. Some buttons that are "real" but obviously were never issued by the Clinton Campaign, just "joke" buttons made by others. Everything else is fake. Hillary in front of the Arkansas flag? Yes. Real. Jimmie Carter in front of a Confederate flag? Yes. Real. There may be Clinton Confederate flag images out there. I used Bing, the native choice for my Kindle Silk Browser, and Amazon is notorious for political activism censorship, as long as it doesn't get in the way of profits too much. Any picture of Senator Byrd in Klan robes should show a much younger man. He was an active member from 1942 to ??? 1952, at the latest. Now, let us consider Bill Clinton with an alleged 15 year old on the Lolita Express..... almost certain to have had sex with underage girls on the Private island, but too smart to pose for what could only get him a Hillary tantrum. To be fair, I know guys that cheated on their wives with stupid and blatant disregard for secrecy. They didn't get sympathy when found out. "She went to visit her Mom, and you had an affair in your own house with some girl, and you never thought your neighbor ladies wouldn't tell her? And she came home and took an axe to your Honda?" Zac, the number of years Byrd was active is almost certainly longer than he admitted, but not more than a decade. There's evidence for 4, and I'd bet 6-8, but that's speculation. Informed speculation, but from memory, and not quickly verifiable. The willingness to lie to make a political point is a classic slide into the Dark Side. I'm openly hostile to theocracies and totalitarian regimes. I consider it self defense. But there's plenty of horrifying truth to be told to convince others of my viewpoint without making up lies. ( which I then would need to keep track of. Too much work for zero gain, even ignoring the morality, my soul, and credibility ) The "cut off nose to spite face" mentality is to be avoided. The "funniest" example of that I've seen, twice, at Sam's club, where college students were seen buying the cheapest, single layer, wood chip, toilet paper for the shared apartment. " Dude, spend the extra dollar and buy the soft quilted stuff! "...." no, F$%& my room mates, they sent me" ( and I resent it ) ..... "Dude! It's your butt too!" .....Nope! Too wrapped up in resentment to think logically. I can understand the "cook bad so they don't ask me again" concept, but this was the too big to fit in a Prius without cramming size toilet paper supply that would sandpaper butts for months. | ||

Ebutch, that Byrd photo is a known fake, and the original head shot is well documented. The "new fresh faces" poster seems to be accurate in spirit, if not photo realism.  I just be missing some pop culture reference with the Sandy "face" pics. Where is that from? That "Biden- Cortez 2020" fake poster? | ||

If you read the Baltimore article (surprisingly well-written, actually, and fairly objective) you'll likely pull the same thing from it that I did. 1. Cops in Baltimore were persecuted for "focusing on blacks" when it came to collaring criminals 2. the Liberal people in City Hall were trying to "equalize" the police by forcing them to abide by policies that would keep them from focusing on blacks as they tried to prevent and solve crimes 3. the end result is (and I know this well, since I spend a lot of time in Baltimore) extremely disparate areas - very well illustrated at the end of the article. The Inner Harbor is very well lit, extremely safe, very popular, and urbane. MLK Blvd and beyond...is a wasteland. Why, you might ask? Well...MLK is where the blacks live, and City Hall says you can't police the blacks because that's discrimination! Well...guess who's asking for MORE police? For MORE action? For MORE safety? The blacks, who live on MLK and beyond. But...as always...the Liberals are preventing it. They're too focused on "why did that kid get a gun and decide it was OK to shoot the other kid? They must be a victim too, and we need to prevent that". Um...NO. You need to stop people from shooting people FIRST. Then, once the bloodshed stops...figure out how to fix the root cause. Deterrence goes a long way - prosecute the shooters, and fewer "victims" will decide it's OK to start shooting in the first place. This...is the state I live in. These...are the knuckleheads who are trying to take MY guns away - a law-abiding citizen - and who are worried not about STOPPING the criminals with guns...but figuring out their "motivation". More evidence of how "successful" these Liberal policies are when it comes to running cities, populations, and police forces. When will the voting public wake up, and get rid of these people?? | ||
