The totalitarian left is doing us all a great favor. Progressivism by its very definition and nature is most successful when it's progress is slow, glacial and undetected. The totalitarian Left is too immature and to impatient to allow for this slow progress. It demands speed of delivery. The result is the revelation of a strategy that requires obscured advancement to succeed. It's why mainline Democrats were so resistant to the hard Left. It's why the DNC, run by Clinton, couldn't afford Sanders to win. Sanders represents the public face of private objectives. He said aloud what should have been said in secret. AOC and others represented to the New Hard Left pose an existential threat to the DNC. Their views further polarize the electorate while their followers are willing to take more and more drastic measures to press their desires. The result will be an acceptance when the polls go their way and an ever increasing tendency to become violent when they don't thereby increasing the probability of losing at the polls, driving more violence...... The Left is gonna Left. They are only stopped by high velocity non-precious metals. | ||

Progressive is, itself, a lie. They are Regressive. Thousands of years of revolution, and finally the Enlightenment, brought us Liberal Western Civilization. The true progress was from totalitarianism, Kings ruling by Divine Right, The Church supporting the aristocracy that bribed them to buy Indulgences. ( Carbon Credits for Sin. By paying penance in cash, often in advance, there is no guilt when committing adultery, or today, taking a private jet to the Climate Con - ference. ) This corruption led to the Protestant Reformation. Radical revolutionaries in America rejected Divine Right and declared legitimacy of power comes from the consent of the governed. In the middle of a war they were losing, no less. ( the play 1776 tells the story in a compressed but perfect way. ) Just as Communism changed it's name to socialism to hide it's evil, socialists stole the word Liberal to hide their evil, and hide behind the greatest movement for freedom in human history. As the champions for freedom called out the evil of the self proclaimed Liberals, they failed to effectively call out this lie, but did tar the Liberal name so the same communist thugs changed names again, to Progressive. Lie upon lie. They seek the regression of 2 centuries of American Freedom. Sandy the bartender declared herself our Boss. The exact opposite of her job description as servant to her people. And declared a Divine Right to Rule! The ultimate regression from representative, to Royalty. Full circle. Lie upon lie. By controlling the language, they control the argument. By denying the right to argue, they establish the Theocracy. And by invoking the Mobs of the French Revolution, they abandon legitimacy, for authoritarian rule. The Regression is complete. The consequences are in progress. There's a reason they are pushing to get a list of every gun in the hands of citizens. | ||

Aka she's too lazy to do what every thinking person does and return them to the store, where by law, and custom, they have a bin to take them back. Usually near the bottle return location in the states that order incentive to return them. Every waste basket in my house uses plastic grocery bags as removable liners. Those few end up in the dump, but are a tiny percentage of my total flow. I have a garbage bag full of them, to use, that gets returned to the store to be recycled when it gets full. It's next to the bag for deposit bottles. It couldn't get easier unless they came and took them. And honestly, I'll let 2-5 kitchen garbage bags fill with deposit bottles, before I return them. To the local business that makes a profit and feeds their families. No standing in line for a machine, ( 30 yards away at the grocery store in the same plaza ) I dump the bags, and reuse them, and chat with the clerk who sorts them by color & type. I usually tip. And still have enough for a burger across the street at the local family stand. ( in business since'52) That Sandy is too lazy To bother to bring her bags back is telling. It also makes me wonder where she lived. Certainly not Brooklyn, where they have bottle deposits. Unless she's too rich in unearned money ( rich people that earn it don't throw it away. Warren Buffett probably irons and reuses Christmas wrap. ) and so uncaring about the environment, to bother lifting a finger to reduce her garbage footprint on the planet, at all. How hypocritical can you get? | ||

Btw, Hillary is a N.Y. Carpetbagger too. She's not from, or has any connection here. But a rich guy bought her a house and she lived there long enough to establish legal residency, before running for her Senate gig. She moved to NY to get that job, period. But she crossed the "t"s and dotted the "i"s. Her rich supporters made sure she could. I'm sure she enjoys living in NY, too. At least part time, ( when Bill's in Florida at his Library penthouse playground with the pool bunnies ) she's in a very tony subdivision. With a wall. |
