I have just received a full set of brake pads, front and back from a seller in China for $13.50 USD. I thought they'd probably be worthless paperweights but I'd take a gamble and get some to look at. I'm a bit shocked. I am extremely impressed by the quality of finish. The pad material looks very good, the metal backings are nicely finished, no sharp edges anywhere. Nothing I can see looks inferior about them. I haven't tried them yet but they look as well manufactured as any other pads I've bought before. I'll soon know if they're junk but I honestly don't think they will be. Time will tell. https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Brake-Pads-for-BUE LL-S1-X1-1200-Lightning-White-Lightning-S3-S3T-120 0-Thunderbolt-M2-1200/32936655189.html |

Just put front pads on an 1125 from ebay seller d2moto (US stock of Chinese parts, faster shipping) finish left a bit to be desired, some rough edges on the pads, but bike stops fine in the few miles I've ridden it so far. I'm just a mildly aggressive street rider. |

Nobody should buy chinese products if others are available. With your money, you support chinese dictators and their attempt to rule the world. (Message edited by Xldevil on March 29, 2019) |

I could feel the difference going from factory to Ferodo brake pads. Then it seemed like I could tell a big improvement going from Ferodo to Lyndall Gold. So maybe not the first place I would look to save money, but since I don't work the brakes much anyway, mine last a long time. |
