"This is a true blue straight up mystery chip. It's the rarest of the rare! Plucked from a bag of Lays Salt N Vinny chips on September 28th, the mystery chip looks just like a cowboy boot! Perfect gift for any cowboy or rodeo fan. Act now! " bidding is closed tho, to bad. I've got a Churchill beet, it could have added to my collection. |

I looked for feedback from either buyer or seller for this one and didn't see any. For that kind of money, the least a guy could do is say whether or not it tasted good. |

Some of the bidders had pretty high feedback numbers. Leads me to believe they were serious. I guess the collectible potato chip market is hot right now. You know, if your collection ever loses it's value you could always eat it. |

Ain't it a great country. That is amazing but if you are good with photoshop you could make a picture of an odd shaped chip and sell it. When you ship it just crumble up some chips and say it must have been damaged in shipping. Damn that is a hell of an idea. Glitch send me some fake pics of odd shaped chips ASAP! |

This is soo stupid I didn't get it. I'll be watching all chips and peanuts I eat from now on, turning and rotating them to get different views. Like finding cartoon figures in the clouds after smoking a joint. I'm gonna be a millionair in a few months. |

Notice how many of the bids are from zero feedback bidders. Wonder how much he'll end up getting (doubt the high bidder will come through). |

See this link to a blog entry about another ebay oddity http://www.boingboing.net/2004/11/10/the_creepy_creepy_wo.html This is actually not that creepy. I ran across a story a year or so ago about doll recreations of stillborn babies for grieving parents... |
