Saw it on Two Wheel Tuesday last night. Looks a bit extreme. But appears to be one killer bike. I would really like to see one at a dealer. I didn't catch when they are slated for the US market. It it is anything like the KTM dirtbike my cousin used to own it will be way cool |

Last report I saw said "planned" production in 2007. A freind of mine has money down on one but bought an FJR1300 to hold him over.....must be nice (Message edited by spinzealot on November 10, 2004) |

They mentioned (on TWT last night) that 2005 models would be begin production in Dec for Europe only with 2006 models starting in the spring that would be shipped to the US. |

I've seen the Superbike. That's the bike they were talking about with production on 2007. I would love to see that 120 HP V-Twin engine in the XB frame. That would be a sweet ride. |

Saw and sat on both the Duke and the LC8 last week. They look and feel great. Expected at the dealers over here in April: I love the LC8 but am not exactly impartial as an ex LC4 owner. Either will make a fantastic tool for short track days. |

Anybody know when the Super Duke 990 arrives in the US? I want one in black. The tail section looks like it has an s1 influence. Mike |

It was interesting to compare the KTMs with the other new bikes that might claim some similarity to the Buell concept i.e. the Yamaha MT01 and the new Triumph Speed Triple. The Speed Triple appears just as it always was but with a stumpy rear end and a rather ugly exhaust arrangement of questionable benefit. The MT01 was simply too big and heavy to be worthy of consideration. It'll be interesting to ride it but it is very clearly a tarted up cruiser rather than a serious sports bike:
