Go to a hardware store and get a socket head allen bolt.
3/8"-16, 1 1/4" long IIRC

should be about .18 cents

From my '08 parts book, for everything from the XB9 to the XB12STT, the pinch bolt is 7/16-14 X 1-1/2 socket head (bright zinc).

I got the 7/16 14 1/2 and its the right bolt. Are there torque specs?

For my '08, the spec is 40-45 ft/lbs.
