A bit of knowledge that might help others:

This is on a 2000 S3 but I think this part is pretty universal.

The fuel strainer that fits on pump, part # P0806.K is obsolete at Harley.

I found it at the local parts store:
Spectra Premium part # STR44

it was about 7 bucks
