I got an 1125CR with just over 2k miles – after fresh battery wouldn't hold charge I did new rotor, stator, and it ran like a charm. I put another 2k miles on it.

Last week, for added peace of mind I installed an SH847 voltage regulator (kit from Roadstercycle). When I took off the stock VR a nickel sized area of the thermal paste in the middle of the unit was all browned and burnt looking.

The new VR seems to be working great and one other thing I noticed was that the faint flickering of the instrument cluster had completely disappeared. It was faint enough I couldn't tell if it was happening or if I was paranoid; however, after installing the new VR, I could absolutely tell the difference – the display is now solid black!

This makes me feel even better about switching to the SH847.

Wow, you've already put a lot of work in your bike and knocked out two of the biggest problems with your model. Knock on wood, you should be good to go, congratulations.

I recently noticed a bit of fluid leaking from the clutch cylinder so before long I will hopefully have all the common bugs worked out
