I am looking for a left mirror (new or used clean) for a CR and a black left radiator cowl (new or undamaged used)for an R/CR. If anyone has any leads on parts sources, it would be greatly appreciated. So far, all I have found on ebay are dinged cowls and new mirrors for $300 from some HD dealer that is gouging for parts for a motorcycle they no longer support. | ||

I took a look, the only listing I saw on eBay for a new left mirror is from St Paul HD/Buell, which arguably is one of the best Buell supporting dealers out there. The problem is that the mirrors do cost $295 each now, so if you have to buy new, that is what it will cost regardless which dealer you use. https://www.sphdonline.com/products/n0161-1ata-gen uine-buell-1125cr-left-side-mirror-turn-signal Clean used is going to be the way to go, but they are not exactly common either, so if you see one, snatch it up. | ||

That is the plan. Buy used, if I can find clean parts. That HD dealer in the link you sent is the same one gouging on ebay. | ||

HD has decided to continue support for the Buells for a couple more years. The dealer is not gouging that now is the list price for that part from HD. | ||

It's not hard to see how $300 for a mirror could be seen as a gouge. Just saying. My HOA wants $300 for a new "approved" mail box. | ||

If I remember right a few years ago they were $75 at the dealer. | ||

Yea a few years ago they were cheap, but now supply and demand and economics of scale, so many Buell parts have doubled or tripled in price.
