Hi Guys, New user aboard ! I live out here in cali so my bike(05 cityx) came with all the emissions crap on it. Damn thing cant breath! Anyway I want to remove the bulky canister. Any advice ?? |

Just remove the canister and route the vent hose down to the inside of the left rider footpeg bracket (don't plug it!). Mike. |

S models look better without it (imho). But you will not make a bit of difference in how it runs tho. Unless you overfill the gas tank that is! |

Yeah, don't plug it, but there is a line that runs to a fitting on the throttle body that needs to be plugged. It's a vacuum line that returns vapor to the intake. If you simply pull out the canister, you'll essentially have a vacuum leak there. I'm with you! I don't like the awkward looking canister hanging there. I'm sure glad that the vibration caused mine to fall off long ago...
