the yellow around the letters is simply the original tank colour taped around the letters before painting. The white is only a rattle can matte finish to get all the pieces to the same colour. A nice paint job may or may not be in the future for this bike. The rear suspension is my interpretation of a Ducati Monster or similar. The stock oil tank is still there. the link visible under the tail section is to adjust ride height. The shock is a Showa from the Ducati. I need to up the spring rate to get it to work properly but it will give me the ability adjust pretty much all aspects of the rear suspension. The forks are an early set of Roma from a S2. they have consistent diameter which allows height adjustment anywhere in the triple trees. I haven't had a chance to test any of this as we still have too much snow up here to get it out on the road. If it doesn't work... I'll post pictures of the road rash!! thanks for your interest. |

Oooh so you haven't even gotten to try out the new setup yet? I'm vaguely familiar with the original monster suspension. I love the old M600s. I just noticed the exhaust too. Is that a custom job as well, or is that a normal Buell option that I've just never seen before? |

The Exhaust is a Torque Hammer and it is a complete system... sounds great too.. very high quality parts..lucky for me it was on the bike when i got it... I'd hate to have to pay the price for it. Here's a question.. Could I put that system on my S1 chassis? It currently has the rear pipe over the frame.. It will be a waste to have a great system like that on a bike that hardly will ever get ridden.. (Message edited by madmacks on March 06, 2018) |

Unfortunately not, the frames are different and the headers aren't interchangeable. It's possible the exhaust itself might be able to fit on the S1, but it would depend on whether it would fit onto a stock header, but itd be a shame to split up the full system anyway. |

Common. I did not change or modify anything on my Buell. Today? |
