No gmaple the S3/M2 uses a different brake lever. X1/S1 uses the same lever kinda.

I don't see any reason this couldn't work on an X1/S1. It's not an L shape like my shifter but the tie rod assembly could still actuate the shift shaft but at a different angle.

They are not interchangeable. Your foot is in a completely diffrent place they are not the same.
