Yesterday the cold broke here for a day or two, but it isn't riding season yet. Desperate for a riding fix, I was looking for a video I found the day before Christmas on youtube. I had run across it while I was setting up the new smart big screen TV. (It had me leaning in the corners as I stood three feet from that big 4K screen.) I was trying to find it last night, but it appears to have been taken down between Christmas and now. It was titled something like, "2015 Buell EBR 1190 SX vs FZ09 up the tight side of Palomar". It was noted in the comments the EBR rider was a few weeks shy of 65 at the time of filming. I admired the clarity of the video, the beautiful sunny day scenery, the lack of traffic, and the skill of framing the FZ rider maintained all the way up the mountain. I also admired the clean lines the EBR rider was taking through the corners. If anyone here knows where I can find that link it would sure go a long way to ward off cabin fever when its too cold to wrench bikes on the garage floor.  |
