Yes, the Russians have infiltrated everything. We're all but Russian propagandists here. Like, they're really concerned about all this stuff. The entire popular media complex leans left (putting it lightly) as does the vast majority of academia, yet some dudes speaking their minds on some random social platforms is Russia. Umm... Quick Board is the {section} of BadWeB where people discuss whatever. Maybe you missed that detail. There are {sections} dedicated to everything Buell related under the sun... you're not required to read this. In here, we politic, kibbitz, argue and otherwise discuss everything, and it's part of what makes THIS site better than most other motorcycle related forums. My Kawasaki forum is f***king boring, because anything other than motorcycle related discussion is outlawed. I can't believe somebody still pays to host it. BadWeB is friendly, informative, ad-free... just the way I like it. Have you donated to the cause? | ||

Pull up the archives. We complained about politicians before I got here, after I bought my Cyclone in '02? So yeah, we argued about the Gulf War, the Protestant reformation, the best way to cook bacon..... Btw. Spider Robinson, author, claims the best way to cook bacon is naked. So you cook it slow enough not to spatter on your tender bits. My mother uses a George Foreman grill. I use the oven on a piece of foil on a pizza pan. ( stays flat, no cleanup ) The high school teacher says no politics in the classroom. The college professor asks "what is the square root of screw Trump?". How do you like to cook bacon? Too fast, on a fry pan, so it curls and cooks unevenly, burnt & undercooked? | ||

I like the combo...loosen in microwave, bake in oven, crisp in pan, let dry on paper towels. I prefer to have some clothes on as hot bacon grease kinda hurts. | ||

I find microwave ovens just do bad things to meat. Potatoes and steaming veggies their ok. The waves heat up hydrogen, in the water in the food. That heats unevenly and the water turning to steam Drys out the meat. You get more like jerky than I prefer. Real heat works better. It gets down to sear or not with most meats to choose between pan and oven. One tip is put the bacon in a cold pan & cover with water. The water boils away and the bacon fibers don't contract as quickly, preventing curling. Curling in the pan burns spots and leaves undercooked areas that are out of contact with the hot metal & above the rendered fat. The fat also renders slower and keeps more flavor in the meat. Bacon in the oven can be done on a wire cooling rack to dry the bacon as the fat renders or the lazy way directly on foil ( for quick cleanup ) frying in it's own fat. That's my preference I go cold start at 350f and time depends on thickness. 30 minutes for thick cut in my oven from cold. Dang. Now I want some. Tomorrow I'll stop at Sam's and get the Wright thick stuff.  . | ||

The NY Times was a supporter of Stalin and lied about mass murder for decades. I think the only reason they aren't actively rooting more for the Kim dynasty is he won't let them sell papers there. Basically, if it's bad for America the Times is for it and willing to lie about anything. The Higher Calling of the Holy State overrides petty outmoded Christian morality. I am being unfair a bit. We should all be disturbed by the media's downfall. They serve a very important purpose by making sure the elected officials are kept in check. By them picking sides and not doing their job they have really put this country in a bad spot where you have one set of people blindly following lies and another set that will not believe anything written or broadcast by the media. |
