I asked them about the trimming fuel values feature. Here is the reply. A real bummer ...
quote:Dear Sir The fuel trim works only for the IAW15M, IAW15P, IAW15RC, IAW59M and IAW5A All other ECUs do not support this functionality Regards Giamberto Scaccia

I doubt you will ever need to trim fuel values though... |

Probably not, but it IS listed as a feature. It didn't say anything about not working on certain ECU's. Since this mysterious feature raised a few questions on the board I figured I would ask and post the answer here for those interested. |

I spoke with Giamberto on the phone today and asked about only being able to reset AFV. I asked if you are able to reset it why can't we what the value is in % before we reset it. I thought it would be valuable to see if the ecm is trying to correct the AFV higher or lower. He said that is a feature he is working on and it could be done as early as next week. It could help with diag. closed loop driveability problems. Al |

Yo race, that was another question I asked him too! He must be thinking we are conspiring together to get things done. When they were working on these gadgets, many people emailed them to make it work for a buell too. Not long after, they updated their homepage with a line 'buell version coming soon!'. What I really like about them is they listen to you. So far, when they say they are working on something, they are and it is being included in the next version. I think that is priceless. I also hinted at the site and the many owners of their gadget, hoping they will join in for support (or better, become a sponsor). |

That's an excellent suggestion Al, and it would also be very useful to see if the Techlusion TFI is doing it's job of fooling the ecm's O2 input. |
