In '96 I ordered a '94 BUELL CF HAMCAN to put on my Sporty. I traded my bike for an FXD, so my Buell Carbon Fiber Hamcan has been wrapped in a t shirt in my drawer for 21 years. It is mint. Now rare is this part? I almost drilled it to make it into a clock, It still has the Buell tape label in place. That Gold Carbon Fiber looks a lot better than the aftermarket stuff that they're making. I don't need it for my S2, but I could always screw it up somehow, and then I would have the part. |

They're around, but definitely uncommon enough for me to say you shouldn't drill holes in it. How about.... you mail me the hamcan, and in return, I'll mail you a nice clock?? |

I'm not going to drill it. I'll hang onto it in case someone ever needs it for a restoration, or if I drop a tool on mine. It looks cool now hanging on the wall in the cave. (Message edited by AJAY_TAYLOR on August 18, 2017) |

Is it a greenie? Or is the CF later style black/gray colored? Are the holes centered, or offset to one end? If they're centered, and it's a greenie, it's an original S2 piece. If it's standard gray CF with the holes offset to one end, it's a later tuber "race" accessory cover and won't work on an S2. Definitely would like to see a pic. DEFINITELY don't drill it! |

Also offered was a "holes centered - black/gray" replacement air cleaner cover. |
