I have had my Uly for like 15,000 miles and now I wonder if the Jardine that came with it (I'm second owner)is properly mapped. How do I know if is mapped correctly? and how do I correct it if needed. I own a Buelltooth but haven't download the computer program to ECM spy I believe. I'm not that good with technology so if it might create more problems than anything else, I will leave it alone because it runs good. |

Realistically it is impossible to know if it is mapped properly or not. If your ECM says "Race use only" on it, then it is a race ECM and may or may not have a tune for a Jardine on it. Both stock and Race ECMs can be adjusted with 3rd party tools, so it is impossible to know if it was alerted or not. You could look at the fuel maps and such with TunerPro/ECMDroid/ECMSpy, but as there isn't only one Jardine tune the odds of a match are small. You could obtain a Jardine tune online, and upload it yourself, or if you have a Race ECM, send it to IDS or EBR to have them reflash it. |

He is running a Jardine, It's broke. My opinion. Better options to run. |

Like a factory exhaust with a working valve. Better power, no hole in the torque band, better ride because you're not pissing everyone off with noise and your ears won't ring after a 30 minute ride. And if the Jardine isn't actually broken yet...it will be soon enough. They always fall apart. |

Well said, Rat. now if I can only stop the rust. I may try the high heat POR 15 paint this winter. Powder coating isn`t working too good. I know some have used Jet Hot, but I don`t know how long it holds up. |
