Author Message   Ratbuell Posted on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 - 07:21 am:        My S2 had a set of aluminum bar ends on it. Nice for cutting the vibes. The other day on a ride, something hit my right ankle. Figured I'd kicked up a rock, didn't think much of it. Last night I have it on the lift trying to diagnose a small wiggle I notice at speed...and my throttle side bar end is gone. Guess I know what hit my ankle. Anyone know of a source for bar ends for 1" bars? I'm gonna ask at work today but expect that as soon as I say "one inch"...they'll look at me like they always do (that weird Buell person).   Upthemaiden Posted on Tuesday, July 25, 2017 - 08:18 am:        Most Harley's have 1" bars, so I'm sure the HD dealership would have something, or you could look on ebay for HD bar ends if you wanted to avoid that dealership. I've also made my own bar inserts by getting some rubber plugs from the hardware section at lows and trimming them to fit when I had bar ends from steel bars that I wanted to fit into aluminum bars. In that case I was going smaller, but it's the same idea.
