Badweb seems to have a lot more slow days in the last couple of years, especially since EBR went into receivership. |

Yep, just a matter of time as "we" age out of riding all together or get onto a different brand. That said; I've entertained the thought of a different bike, off and on, for over 6 years. Just can't find one that suits me, at a price I want to pay... |

I rode a 1979 Yamaha XS1100 for years until I bought my first Uly in 2007. The XS guys had an active website that I was a member of for many years, and those dudes weren't nearly the passionate kool aid drinkers that we are. I foresee this site hanging around for quite some time. For me at least, it is an invaluable source of information. |

I've had my 2009 XT since March of 2010. I'm getting older and want some creature comforts so I'm thinking about a big touring bike in the next year. I test rode an HD Ultra Low. It was nice to be able to put both feet down flat, something I can't do on the XT. I also plan to test ride a Goldwing the next demo day I can find. however, the chances of me trading in my Buell are slightly less than zero. That particular Kool Aid tastes mighty good! |

I'm thinking as Uly's are sold those picking them up will find us to help keep them going. More talk of maintenance and less about farkles. |

Things are gonna be slow around these parts now. Traffic peaked in 2009/2010 after the fire sale and there was a flood of new owners, new questions, new problems, and such. The bikes have been out of production for like 7 years now, the number still on the road is slowly dwindling as bikes get wrecked, parted out, or otherwise decommissioned. Less bikes = less owners, less owners = less chats. Things slowly tapered off as people moved on to different brands. We are still seeing some fresh blood with new accounts getting created, mostly lurkers, but obviously nowhere near the levels that it was during production. Also, pretty much every issue imaginable has been beaten to death, so if your bike gets sick, someone else likely encountered the same and has a fix somewhere in the archives. It will be interesting to see what "new" issues crop up as our bikes age, like that one time smoke started coming out of my seat. (A bunch of dry leaves got sucked into the fan area and ignighted) Other parts of this board still have activity, so if you are bored then take a look around, you might get the lust for an old tuber or a stupidly fast EBR. |

bums me out that my Uly is out of action. Still, I suppose the upside is that the other Buells get some attention finally. |

I know it's hard to believe, but I "retired" my stock battery last year! It was still working fine. So you may be in for a while ET! Nice to know I'll have some company! |

This is battery number four for my '06. Original made two years AGM have each done four years. I milked this last one nearly an extra year until it stranded me. Sure is nice to hear it crank over like it is young again! |

I forgot to mention that mine is an '06 also. Kept on a Tender when parked. It always had a tiny struggle when first cranked, but always started. Never worried about it. I replaced it with a Deka Big Crank which does turn it over better. |

I know I'm gonna be hanging around awhile. I have my tuber still, a blast and I just picked up an 09 Uly. I think many of these bikes will become collectors items if we can keep them together for a couple of decades. I would love a new SX but I think the parts for that may become harder to get then my other bikes down the Road |
