That the Defender decal guy? Yessir, it sure is! I didn't realize previously that he did (at least some of) the early tubers. |

Morning Ratbuell & 1313, Thank you for the information. Every year I have planned to go to homecoming, but life got in the way. My loss, so far. I believe there will be another. That is what keeps me going. |

I had Stretch make decals for my S2, very happy with them, and nice people to deal with. |

I've had some real struggles with them. They can't tell me what the original colors of the S2 decals were. I'm looking to get several sets of white / light gray and light gray/ dark gray. They suggested white / silver and black / silver. I sent them an original white / gray to match. That was a year ago, they still have both my tank and tail decals to boot! Kevin |

I had my local guy duplicate some decals for my yellow jacket s2. They came out fairly good. Problem was, for the different colors, he had to cut the Buell separate from American motorcycles. So then the body shop didn't space them quite right nor in the "correct" location. But it looks well enough that I don't think most would notice.

Apologize for taking so long to reply. Have the original maker of the RS/RSS1200 decals. Minimum order is $45 which will get me/us 6 to 8 stickers. Mine is 3" x 6" measured across all the words, in white. Anyone else need some before I make the order? Will be ordering the "BUELL Motor Company, Inc." Order through you? Quantity discount? I pick up NOS Buell decals when I find them and I have extra $$$$ burning holes in my pockets. Is this the same outfit that did S1W Buell decals? DAve |

Afternoon Dave, Well, I am the one that needs just two. Minimum order is $45.00 which will get us 6 to 8. If someone needs a few, we can split the cost. That was my thought. Let me know how many you want and I will place the order. Can PM me with your address. |

The s1 tail and windscreen decals were screenprinted on clear vinyl. The tank decals were the raised "domed" type decal. |

RS/RSS1200 decals, Just off the phone with Ann, of the company which made the original decals. She literally went in to the attic and dusted them off. They will make new ones for us. I thanked her for doing this for us. Please email me if the number or style is not correct. Concerning price, it is calculated as time and material, roughly $48 per sheet. Should come out under $200 in total, so far. Note about 8 to 10 decals fit on each roll of material, so, buying 2 or 10 is roughly the same cost. This is why I put out the request on BadWeb as I need just two. Remember black and red are two separate rolls. Totals which have been requested to me are below. Totals, so far, are: 6+2+2+2 - Tank - White "BUELL", White "MOTOR COMPANY, INC." (For RS1200) 2 - Tank - Black "BUELL", Black "MOTOR COMPANY, INC." (For RS1200) 2 - Tank - White "BUELL", Red "AMERICAN MOTORCYCLES" (For RSS1200) 3 - Fairing - White Angle "BUELL" RS1200 decals, RS1200 tank decals, RSS1200 decals, RS1200 stickers (Message edited by 89rs1200 on June 19, 2017) |

Original S1 tank decals were not domed / 3D decals. Those were on the later "recall" tanks. Originals were the under-clear decals just like the other early bikes. |
