So My neutral light does not come on all the time. 95% of the time. It does come on every once in a while. So I do not think it is the bulb. Thoughts? Clutch switch? neutral switch? |

mine seems to work more consistently if I keep up on oil changes. ... I would try to clean the switch |

I just had an issue with a broken tan and yellow neutral switch wire under the cowl that was responsible for my Neutral light going out when I turned the bars to the right. |

If you have it in neutral, and the light doesn't come on, and it won't start unless you pull in the clutch, you probably have a bad neutral switch. It's located partially behind the drive sprocket, so you might have to modify a tool, to get into that tight spot. Do a search on neutral switch, and you'll find some ideas for a tool. |
