I stumbled onto this this morning: http://www.ventura-bike.com/product/EBR%20Racing/1 190-SX The page says SX but shows photos of an RX, not that that would make any difference. There appear to be several luggage options.

Yaknow... with the secondary can gone in that picture, there is room on either side for nice fat top opening bags.... just sayin. |

Tires would be good for ADV riding on the ice. |

Hmmm; if Ventura can mount it's rack to the magnesium sub frame, then a set of hard bags should also be mountable. My Sport - Tourer is looking more possible with each new development. I would dearly love to be the first person to ride an 1190 SX to the Arctic Circle. Come on, Elves; help me out! |

Side bags would be a snap. Weld to the Ventura steel and connect to the rear foot peg brackets. Passengers need to get their own bike. |

I'd be concerned whether the subframe is rated to take that extra weight... Edit: derp... never mind. I see that it covers the passenger area and it's unlikely one could weigh down the luggage as much as an adult on the back. (Message edited by Chameleon on November 28, 2016) |

Has anyone been able to purchase this? |

I bought the mounts for an SX, the upright rack for the Ventura bag & a hand grab bar when not carrying the upright bag. The mounts have been in stock since February of this year. Here's the SX shakedown set up for the upcoming camping trip to Laguna Seca this July.

Sparky, where did you end up getting them from? I tried Ventura-mca.com but couldn't get the order to submit, and they haven't responded to emails. |

I ordered them directly from Ventura Motorcycle Accessories, Inc. 6925 216th St. SW, Ste. E Lynnwood, WA 98036 USA 425-672-4500 info@ventura-mca.com If no go, try contacting "Max Martin, Ventura-MCA" <max@ventura-mca.com> to see what's changed. He is who responded to my mail order. |

Sparky, What is the big bag over the seat?

The big bag over the seat is a Tour-Pack from Rev-Pak. It is the smaller of the 2 sizes they offered when I got mine and is large enough to carry a 2-man tent, sleeping bag, Thermorest pad, chair, ground cloth, some clothes and more. Rev-Pak also has a larger bag that can easily accommodate camping gear for 2. |
