I got a shifter that I believe was made by Billet2Win. [Edit:Billet2Race] I think I'm missing maybe a spacer and hoping someone could assist that may know these or actually has one. The pivot that attaches to the case bolt seems to need a spacer. I can build it up with 3 washers but hoping the BadWeb collective KB knows. Anyone know how it should go? The last photo was lifted from the web somewhere.

I have that Billet2Race shifter. I have it disassembled right now, so I don't remember for sure. I believe, though, that it's just a stand off washer (or stack thereof) since the pivot has a bearing. (Message edited by ft bstrd on May 06, 2017) |

"Billet2Race" OK, I will edit. A couple washers... all right. Do you know if the orientation of the front pivot is as shown? One side has a much deeper recess to the bearing. DAve |

That's how mine was oriented. Don't have that pivot in hand right now to tell, but I don't remember there being a lip on the inner surface. Wondering if the bearing is pushed in far enough.

Spot on about the bearing not being seated all the way. I thought I saw a retaining ring in there but I was mistaken. Thanks DAve |

I think it's all about aligned. I just need to finalize a couple things. One mistake was attempting to mount the pivot on the forward case bolt like in the example I found. I imagine that works for perhaps an S3 or M2 where the pegs are forward more than an S1W. Progress shot

Also, I believe that the rod lengths are different based upon M2/S3 vs S1. Don't know about X1. I know when I ordered it from Dorothy that she asked because the long rod lengths were different. |

Hmm... Maybe all were supposed to be in the front bolt then? I got mine off an S1 part out. DAve |

I'm pretty sure I've always seen them mounted with the bolt in the rear hole. Obviously if the shifter is where you want it, and there's a little bit of adjustability left in the setup, I don't think there's any reason it couldn't be mounted to the front hole if that's the only way someone could get the lever where it needed to be. |

Sorry ... Missed this. Yes I do have the brake side and can post shots maybe this evening. Trippa' - This one has been on a stand for over a year. (It's my S1W Rescue from being parted out. I got it near Peoria). Near disaster this weekend lol. Neither of us damaged DAve (Message edited by DAve on May 22, 2017) |
