If you would respond in a timely fashion, post pix in the listings, which is what most people do, or send them when requested to interested parties in a timely fashion NOT charge a PayPal tax ( never saw that in my life ) WTF?? Google the definition of DIBS!!! you might have had better luck... JUST SAYING... | ||

No where near NC unfortunately, but if you're trying to giving stuff away to buellers, I'll gladly pay you to mail me that tank bag  It's not that uncommon to ask for a few extra dollars for something on paypal. Paypal takes a cut, and people are just trying to get the full amount they asked for. If someone is trying to get $10 for something and you pay with paypal, they're gonna lose out on a percentage. Usually I just see people asking for payments as friends/family, which sometimes I feel uncomfortable doing, I'll use any of the various online calculators to determine how much I need to send the normal way so I still get the paypal protection, and the seller still gets the full amount they're asking for. If someone asks for $10, they'd end up with $9.41. If you want them to get $10, you'd need to send them $10.61. http://thefeecalculator.com/ As far as the dibs and timely responses, can't say, I did see the listings in the classifieds but I didn't really follow them. I have tried to sell quantities of stuff online before and managed to get way over my head with all of the responses, not to mention trying to keep track of who responded first when you're getting forum posts and PMs at the same time. Sucks that it looks like everyone just got frustrated, this forum is typically a pretty good place with good people. | ||

"We're all friends here : )" The only time I've ever gotten scammed that way was when I tried to pick up an XBR top triple for my old XBS on a certain other Buell forum. The guy just up and disappeared with my $50. What can you do... This forum definitely feels a bit more homey/comfortable. | ||
