Just bought 09 1125r and bought a motor to swap out the bad one. I just got everything switched out and turned the key to get a theft mode on the ic. I checked for short to ground on can connecter everything seems to be in order. What can I do to get this bike running? Please help | ||

You are going to need the code. I would call hd and figure out what they are going to need to get you the code. Probably vin and cluster id | ||

If the battery is low and you try starting the bike you can trigger that code. First make sure you have full voltage (13 +) at the battery. Disconnect the battery and wait a couple minutes. Hook the battery back up and see if it clears. If that doesn't clear that theft code you'll need a new ecm and speedo per HD. I call them on this in the past and they claim the if you don't have the code a dealer can't reset it. | ||

Yea I've read it still nothing just same theft code I've tried everything I'm guessing I'm going to need to replace ECU and ic? | ||

HD claims if you locked out your bike the only way to reset the code is to replace both items. I'm not sure if there is hack out there to reset the code. | ||

Ok so last night turned the key and it disappeared and cranked over ran for a min then the rpm went up and died and comm error came up and back to theft error again? |
