Thanks man, I went a little nuts on my wife yesterday and it ate up a lot of my allotted play money. |

William, PM rcv'd and returned. I'm sorry you got a leaky one! If it continues to loose it's fluid I'll give you a refund. I'm posting this so everyone is aware, and in case the other shock I sold has a problem as well. I originally picked up five of them and chose to throw one out because it started leaking a fair bit of fluid when I got it home. I was pretty frustrated with that. So, physically it's a solid shock, so not unsafe from loosing a drip or two... they ride harsh once the fluid has all dribbled out, since there's just the spring dealing with road surface. even then it's not likely to fail as the long body did with the breakage the Court mentioned... anyway it's possible that once it gets moving the seals will be okay. Take if for a couple rides, let me know and we'll work it out, if a part or full refund is needed I'll get your money back to you. Again, I'm really sorry yours has leaked, I had hoped the one I found was the only bad apple. -Mike (Message edited by littlebuggles on March 01, 2017) |

The shock that I got from Mike was as described in New condition. However, I think as a result of shelf life, the forward seals in the reservoir were dry and caused it to leak. Mike promptly refunded the amount to send the shock to Racetech for a rebuild. He made good on the sale and is an admirable Badwebber. Don't let shelf life dissuade you from making a purchase from him. He will make good on any issues. |

Thanks William. Since the leaky one went out I have rotated the others to let the oil work its way around the seals. No new leaks have come up. I have two short shocks remaining. One is still in the plastic. Asking $265(+shipping) for those, badweb price. I also have five of the longer body shocks, which may be good for restoration projects. Those are less of course ($175 +shipping), since I expect they are there more for cosmetic purposes. -Mike (Message edited by littlebuggles on March 07, 2017) |
