Author Message   Glitch Posted on Monday, October 18, 2004 - 09:36 am:        I found my idler wheel was hitting the exhaust outlet Check to make sure everything is tight and in the right place before you start bending things. Our bikes are the same except for the belt style, so check to make sure everything's OK first. Jeez, a 'puter geek givin' advise to a mechanic... I think it has been tooooo darn long since my last mountain ride and all of us need to get our fix. I say lets do it! Glitch, I did check the fit and finish, the can had been tightened down too much either before or when I put it on and it had crushed a little causing the rear to sit higher than normal. A little tweaking was all that was needed. Everything is ok now. Oh yeah, it sounded really cool in the shop this morning echoing off the walls and all, next stop, parking garage!!! It breaths and keeps you warm. I use it for all my winter sports and have found that is works wonders under my riding gear in the winter. The big problem with winter activities is that you typically bundle up, get hot and sweat. Well once your sweat gets cold it's all over and you won't stay warm to save your life.
