So I got the engine back in after the top end rebuild this weekend. New battery installed and I can turn the engine over but there is some electrical weirdness First off I am missing a couple of fuses. Can someone share a picture of an X1 fuse panel? Second. I replaced the +12v main battery cable as the old one had soaked with oil. Is there only this connection to the battery positive? I have the circuit breaker connected at the starter as shown in the manual. Third, the starter sometimes sounds happy cranking and sometimes doesn't like the solenoid is sticky. Is this a known problem? And finally, the oil light sometimes comes on and sometimes doesn't. As in key on, oil light on, key off key on, no oil light. Like I have an intermittent relay. Any advice? |

The empty ones are for spares I think.. .
Could always switch to carb. |

The fuse box sockets corrode in time. Take each fuse out, clean and reseat with some dielectric grease or WD40. |
