Thanks, but I never should've sat you your XB...gotta...resist...the...temptation...BTW, that's the hole in my wallet if I got one or the one my wife would tear in me if I suggest it. (Message edited by blaster_s on October 15, 2004) |

It's not a temptation, it's a need! It's a gotta have! Good thing for you, the Blast fills that need. The need is for the ride. As long as you can ride, you'll be good to go. Lust after the XBs all you want, there'll be one there when the time is right. From what I hear you've got a badass sounding bike. Mods a plenty in the Thumper Forum, if you haven't figured that one out already. I want to build a Blast Cafe' bike. |

I went to church last night for an activity and all the teens there gathered around my bike and all the boys were gawking at it after I got off. They couldn't believe it was that small AND loud. I NEVER got that kind of attention w/ my Kawi ZX-7R. Even the littlest Buell grabs the kind attention that none of my ricers ever could. Plus there's a big advantage my Blast has over the XB: it's paid off. (Message edited by blaster_s on October 15, 2004) |

Glitch: Can you post a pic of your 3% design that could be scanned for cutting, and if so could you do a right and left? |

Glitch: I was thinking about making rt. and lt., could you reposition the 3% on the lt. one to read correctly. I know it wont look the exactly the same as the rt. but it is a good first run. I'm going to try something this weekend. |

Glitch...I think he just wants a mirror image. O'photoshop master. Gov...I would like his number. Does he remove tire or do you have to? I have always had someone do it, so I am afraid I would fcuk something up. Cycle gear has M1 for $129 rear and $94 front. Diablos $179 rear and $112 front. The rain was just starting to enter my boots and soak my bum when I pulled in to my neighborhood. |

B.S: Kens motorcycle tires 770-592-8526 I forget what I payed him for my Diablos but it was comparable to what they were going for on the internet. I just make an appointment and ride over there he changes them in about 10 or 15 min. real nice guy too. |

I think those of us that rode down 78 together are the only ones who missed the rain last night. Mother luck was on our side- and newR12's Charlie if you decide you're going to do tricks on your bike at 85+mph please don't do them when I'm riding behind you. You can get as crazy as you want as long as you're behind me and I don't have to worry about hitting you if you go down- thank you, thank you very much |

Glitch, your design is looking pretty good. Hey, Steve will be up at SM HD around 1:00 PM your time tomorrow. He will have items in hand. From there he is going to a town called Tucker.Maybe this is closer to you. I don't know. If you don't mind give me your phone number (cell or home) so he can call you when he gets closer or maybe something happens on the way up. If this won't work for you let me know and I can just mail them to you. I need to know by about 7:00 PM so I can get the parts to him on his way home....later, Odie |

A4TR, I respect your wishes and shall refrain from doing silly tricks at high speeds in front of you. I get this really wild hair up my rear every time I ride and do my best to keep it from getting me in trouble, usually the hair wins. Last night was a good time for myself and co-pilots in that four wheeled thing behind us. It sounded like we raised a pretty good sum of moola for our wounded soldiers. Torqer, it was a pleasure meeting your family last night, Vinnie is quite the character, he takes after you a bit eh. Glitch, if you get a chance tonight give me a ring to get some directions for Sat. I should be up and about for a while. To all the other 3%ers, It was great seeing so many of us in the group together again, I hope we can get a ride before the weather turns too cold. |
