Wow,Marc. What a different "picture" you've "painted on the bike. Looks great and different. Now, hopefully you'll keep this setup for a bit.....I,don't take it wrong please, still like what your bike looked like before, but i like what you did here too. You just need to stop changing the looks of it so you can at least have some lengthy time to ride the darn thing......LT |

Good thinking about the triple clamps! I think the lack of turning radius on my stock S1 gets annoying sometimes, I can't imagine reducing that even further with the xb triples! All that work and money put into such a nice bike, and you've got it sitting on a harbor freight stand! You need one of those fancy deals you see in magazine shoots |

Very nice Marc. How do you like the led light I have been thinking about one mine is not btight at all as I was used to HID. Whats the story on the front caliper? Also fyi I am still planning on sending my upper triple and bars to you to get something machined! |

I have a pitbull stand, but its gold and would clash in the pics.. haha. One of these days i need to powdercoat it black. The LED headlight is INSANELY bright. I had the Vrod and it was fine, but i was going to do a HID projector retro fit in it... but just couldnt find a shallow enough projector. As for the caliper, there were a handful of Billet "prototype" ZTL2 calipers made by/for Buell and were used out on the race track for testing before the cast units went into production. Let me know what and when you need machined |

I have a pitbull stand but it's starting to look REAL rough. I emailed pitbull to ask for tips on ways to clean up that finish and see about getting some new stickers... he said they'd recoat it for me for $20, wanted me to buy a $20 refresh kit for the stickers, and said I had to pay shipping on the stand both ways... at this point I'm up to $80 at minimum haha, so my stand is just going to get painted black as well, or maybe sand off the gold coating and clear coat the whole thing. |

Very nice so with the m unit how do you run three lights is the halo on a switched power line? Also I might be wrong but did you strip abd repowder the frame flat black? Either way it really looks nice. Also where are the mirrors or are you just riding dirty? (Message edited by S1owner on November 02, 2016) |

With the m-unit...if you hold the high beam button down for 3 seconds it turns the headlight off... so i have the halo wired direct. Turn the headlight off and the halo is the only thing on. Hit the button on very and low turns on... hit the button again high comes on. Hold it for 3 secondsets and only the halo. When you turn the ignorant on for the first time only the halo lights till after you turn the bike over and the low comes on. I'm probably going to put the low on a switch under the tank to kill power all together to the low. That way the halo is only on during the day. If I need to flash just tap the button and the high will flash. Halo is super bright and visable... just doesnt throw much light. Frame is the same grey color it's been since 08 |

Yep thats how I thought you had it! Frame really does look like a diffrent color with all the new work. I say for a one man army you set the bar pretty high even some companies cant put out that caliber of design and fab work. |

Love the new headlight, not to mention the rest of the bike – so fun to watch it evolve! Something about the angle of the vrod always made me feel like it's about to melt off the bike. |

Wow.OUTSTANDING!! It looks like an OEM 2017 Buell Motorcycle. To me it doesn't look like a modified Buell. Not enough superlatives to describe this bike..A 10 out of 10.A magazine COVER bike....WOW i'm extremely impressed. |
