A friend brought a 73 Honda 175 twin that I had given him to in a non-running state to a restaurant a couple miles from my house. So I rode the Honda home, which was a total hoot except for the complete lack of brakes, and he rode the X1 I recently replaced the clutch cable and haven't really fine tuned it. My friend rode the 3.2 miles in first gear as he thought the clutch cable would break When he got back, something fell off. I have to laugh, I'm sure the 3 mile ride just finished the thing off, but it is almost time to reconfigure the garage fro winter.

LOL You probably didn't use enough zip ties to secure the plate! |

Yeah the plate is in rough shape, the bracket falling off is new though! First thing to fall off in a long time though |

Years ago the local cop shop gave me a call and told me they had the tail light from my Panhead. I just couldn't figure out how they knew it was mine. When I picked it up, it was pretty obvious - the plate was attached to the tail light. That bike shook so hard it would walk across a parking lot when it idled. |
