I've been keeping an eye out on CL for an aircooled Buell to add to the collection. Suddenly, there are bunches of then available...the Ulysses apparently sold overnight, as did a 2008 1125R with 35,000 miles and looking a little rough around the edges, yet apparently sold very quickly for a good bit more than I would have paid for it. I'm undecided whether to pick up an X1 tuber, or a fuel injected XB, like maybe an '08 XB12R. Which would you choose and why? The asking prices are relatively close. There is also an '04 XB9R with 30,000 miles on it for $2800, looks good in the pics. And it's close. |

Wow. I sold my '03 9R for $2400 with 13,000 miles. |

I typically say the Ulysses as it tends to be a better contrast to the 1125R, especially if you get one with hard bags and such. |

Thanks for your contribution Froggy. The Ulysses don't seem to last long on CL around here unless they look beat or have high miles on them, or a ridiculous price. This one disappeared overnight... |

Almost thought you were looking at my listing at first, but I'm about 1000 miles away from you. I pulled mine since I'm planning on doing some more XB related work. It's paid for, clean and low miles, so I'll be keeping it for the time being. GL finding one that fits you. |
